Why does hip hop feel like its missing something?

-I remember when Dre 2pac biggie snoop warren g nate dogg and the others defined hip hop. Tracks made sense and they were deep. 2pac's All Eyes on me and Dre's Chronic and 2001 are probably iconic hip hop albums. Why don't these new entertainers do same thing on hip hop industry as opposed to meaningless tracks with short shelf lives. And yet, when Dre and 2Pac were around, old-skool hip-hop heads always complained about how much they sucked.

Just like you're complaining now.your new to Hip Hop arn't you? there are still loads of artist like that, alot of them are underground. i mean your saying Hip Hop isn't good anymore. check these out and try and say that again these came out earlier this year

try digging more into the Hip Hop culture and not just the radio you will find more amazing rappers.
It's probably because it's missing the vital ingredient to make music....Talent
Mainstream hip hop is missing everything but there is still some good stuff underground
Because people think drake and lil wayne and soulja boy are da sh*t.
