Why does Atlantic Records want to ruin their artists?

Now if they push Lupe to that point think about what they do to their other artists, he can't release what he wants to. He can't release videos unless they tell him to. Truthfully I would rather have him at YM than Atlantic.It's because the music those artists usually make doesn't appeal to the average rap music listener. Look at "Show Goes On". That's Lupe's most popular song by far. The only other song that comes close is "superstar" which he also made to appeal to the masses so the label wouldn't do to The Cool what they did to Lasers. It's all about popularity.I've noticed that too, and look at the other Atl. Records artists, B.o.B, T.I. and Wiz Khalifa.

There all decent rappers but most of the time they make dumbed down mainstream garbage.

Hopefully Lupe will leave so he can do what he wants with F&L2
It's what sells. It's sad but the music industry is corrupted with greedy people that care more about the money than the music.
Because that sh*t sells.
