What 20s song is this?

-I remember some of the lyrics

"Im standing on top of the world...were moving along, moving along"It's "Sitting on top of the World" first made popular by Al Jolson. A couple of years later, another song with the same name was recorded by the Mississippi Sheiks and eventually by every western swing band. The music for "I'm Sitting on Top of the World" was written by Ray Henderson, the lyrics by Sam M. Lewis and Joe Young. The song was published in 1925. The song was first recorded by either Art Gillham or Al Jolson. Art Gillham (鈥榯he Whispering Pianist鈥? recorded 鈥業'm Sitting on Top of the World鈥?on 24 October 1925. Though around the same time, the exact date of Jolson's recording session is unknown.

The only thing this song has in common with the song written members of and performed by The Mississippi Sheiks is the title, which they likely borrowed from the song discussed above. The Mississippi Sheiks were known for borrowing from other popular songs and were sued for it at least once.

The song saw a major revival in a 1952 version by Les Paul and Mary Ford. The song became a standard with 50's and 60's artists.
